About Rez

The idea for “Rezolution” came from the example of Jonathan Edwards in the 1700s as a young 19 year old who RESOLVED to live for the glory of God in everything. To “discipline himself for the purpose of godliness” (1 Tim. 4:8), Edwards wrote out 70 resolutions for a holy, consecrated life devoted to Christ (The Resolutions of Jonathan Edwards). God mightily used Edwards in the Great Awakening that saw tens of thousands converted, and led to a lasting revival in many churches that bore fruit for generations to come and spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Who can forget the incredible launch of Rezolution in 2010 with John Piper, Conrad Mbewe & Stuart Townend? Since then, every REZ has been a feast for the soul on great expository preaching, God-centred corporate worship, and rich gospel fellowship amongst likeminded churches. 2017 promised to be no different – with Voddie Baucham who came to ignite our hearts again with biblical truth!

The last announced gathering was for 2019. Recordings from past conferences are still available on the Sermons page, and older notices live on the Blog.

Can I book a seat at Rezolution?

When a conference is open, payment of registration secures a seat. Space is limited. Registration openings have been announced through the conference Facebook account. Online registration is not open on this site at the moment.

I’m a student. Do I qualify for a discount?

Student pricing has been offered at past events once the venue and speakers were finalised.

I’m a parent. What’s the plan for kids?

Details have been announced closer to each conference. In 2015 a kids programme and crèche ran on the Saturday, with a mother’s room available.

How will food work?

To keep costs down, meals have been at your own expense with vendors on site. Specific prices are announced for each event.

REZ has not been able to offer official accommodation. Delegates have been encouraged to contact churches in Gauteng or use local guest houses. See the accommodation note.
